God is transcendent. Transcendent does NOT mean magical. It does not mean ‘supernatural’. It simply means the human mind cannot grasp that transcendent thing.

Why some Muslims fear and oppose rationality heavily? They claim that Islam isn’t compatible with rationality, because the minds of a human is limited. They further claim that the only way to be ‘safe’ is only by following their religious scholars, not by rationality. Don’t they know that Allah told that His signs are for those who give thought?
We often hear that the Quran is incomplete and it needs the Hadith to complement it. Let’s look at what the Quran has to say.
Only by studying, understanding, practicing, and trying to understand the original import of the Quran, only one can expect to establish a good relationship with God.
Did you hear the news that a mosque in China was destroyed by the authorities, and many injured? No? You didn’t? That means the world has been silent about the persecution of Muslims in China.
The thing about Shariah compliance is that people are trying to justify their actions while its purpose is another. Why not Shariah-serving instead?
Muslims have to realise that a state is required to fully carry out the deen (system) of Islam. Without the state, not only Muslims but humankind are manipulated an oppressed.
The belief in God should be the driving factor for Muslims to establish an Islamic state, not because the desire to have the state itself.
The purpose of feminism was to enforce the rights of women. But today feminism is used to wage war on men and to show off their rebellion and anarchy.
In Islam, ethics is termed as ‘akhlaq’. It stemmed from the root ‘khalq’, meaning ‘creation’. Therefore, if we have akhlaq in our lives, we have served the purpose of the creation- khalq.
Why are ethics important?
However, we should always remind ourselves, what are we suppose to follow actually, Ulama or the Quran? From who should our absolute guidance be from, ulama or Quran? Allah said:

Do you remember about the well-known Muslim reformist thinkers that we learnt in form 5 in Pendidikan Islam (Islamic Education) ? Yes, yes, Syeikh Jamaluddin al-Afhghani and his student Syeikh Muhammad Abduh. They both called for Muslims to return to the Quran and to not follow Islam blindly or just nodding at every thing the ulama says without referring to the Quran. They are also well-known for their resistance towards colonization. I myself admire their way of thinking.
When I was learning about the privileges of Malays in Malaysia, I recalled a senior friend of mine (who studied law too) talking about Malays and Islam. He said that the Federal Constitution of Malaysia protects the ‘rights’ and privileges of Malays. Since a Malay is a Muslim by law, so by protecting the rights of the Malays, the Federal Constitution is actually protecting Islam.
Is this true?
There are other ways the government uses the Malay race to protect Islam, like making the conversion from Islam to another religion forbidden (only if he/she is a Malay), and also guaranteeing every Malays as Muslims. Well, it does protect Islam in a way, but that way is very, very wrong (and detrimental too). Here are 4 reasons why (with number 4 being the best):

The declaration of Human rights by the United Nations (UN) is sought as one of the greatest achievement in human moral and the progress of humanity since the second world war. Truth to be told however, although with the ongoing human rights, human moral and behavior is declining to its lowest.
We don’t have to go very far to see this. Liberty and democracy is one of the main pillars of the so-called human rights. In the name of liberty, same-sex marriage is legalised, not married same-sex relationship is legalised, sex without marriage (zina) is legalised, wearing tight clothes on the streets are legalised, alcohol consumption is legalised, gambling is legalised, riba is legalised.

A bunch of guys chasing a ball on a field has become the highlight of the third quarter in 2018. Football fans all around the world are going wild just to see a bunch of guys chasing a ball in a field. Come on, the FIFA World Cup, 4 years once, who would want to miss it?
When life gives you lemons, make lemonade they say, but then, how? And what’s the significance behind this so called saying that has been going around for centuries? Does this really proof that life IS hard for everyone and there will be a point in our lives that makes us think life is…sour in general? To construe that life, though it may be filled with joy and happiness, there will be a period of time when you got to deal with the sour and make the best out of it, the lemonade.
